Create an account. Confirm your email. Upgrade to convert more than 5 files. Wait in a queue. Accept that your photos are now on someone else's server.
I just wanted to convert my files. So I built something that asks for nothing: PixelShift.
What it does
- Converts images in bulk between PNG, JPEG, WEBP, HEIC, BMP, GIF, TIFF
- Runs entirely on your machine, no internet required
- Privacy Mode strips GPS coordinates and metadata before saving
- Resize multiple images at once with aspect ratio lock
- Nothing ever leaves your computer
No account. No upload limits. No server. Just your files, converted.
The Privacy Feature
Every photo taken on an iPhone has GPS coordinates embedded in the file. Exact latitude, longitude, altitude, timestamp. Anyone who receives that file gets your location silently.
PixelShift strips all of that before saving. On by default.

If you are converting images online and uploading private files to random servers, you are sitting on a privacy risk. Sometimes it just takes seeing someone else do it first.
